In this weeks episode we will be discussing all the highs and lows of social media, sharing all our personal fears and insecurities! We think social media can be an amazing platform, connecting us with friends and family, or even the buissness benefits!
Unfortunately though, there’s no surprise that social media is having a negative effect on our generations mental health. Setting unrealistic beauty standards and having a platform to compare yourselves to others. “Comparison is the thief of joy” - something that has come up in a few of our episodes now. A running theme that comparing yourselves to others can really have an effect on our self esteem!
Women’s bodies have been trends for the longest time, but social media is highlighting and pushing this narrative far and wide. It’s impossible to keep up, so our advice is - don’t bother trying!
Join us for all of the above, plus a few digressions here and there. It wouldn’t be us without them.
